The Manchester Alexander Technique
Training School Est. 2001
The MATTS Teaching Space
MATTS is based at the Quaker Meeting House in Wilmslow.
The main training room is bright, spacious and quiet, with level access throughout the building. Other rooms include a kitchen, dining area, two smaller rooms and male, female and accessible WCs.
The Quaker Meeting House provides an unusually suitable environment for Alexander Technique training: calm, simple and practical, while remaining within easy walking distance of the centre of town and the railway station.
Tea, coffee and a good choice of snacks are served during the morning break, and much of the informal conversation and exchange between teachers, students and visitors takes place at this time.
The Quaker Meeting House is accessed by a shallow ramp and everything is on the ground floor. There is more detailed information on the Accessibility page.
There is more information about travel, parking and accommodation on the Location & Travel page.
