Resources

This section brings together a range of materials relating to the Alexander Technique, including resources for the general public as well as more specialised material for teachers and trainees.

The Alexander Technique has developed over more than a century, and a substantial body of literature, recorded teaching, and professional discussion now exists. Much of this material is not easily accessible in one place.

The resources provided here are intended to support:

  • those wishing to learn more about the Technique

  • students and trainee teachers

  • qualified teachers seeking to continue their development

Some of the material presented—particularly within the teachers and trainees section and the MATTS video archive—is not widely available elsewhere and reflects many years of teaching and professional engagement within the field.
